If you're interested in getting the best view of the 2007 Pride Parade, marshalling is the way to go!
The 2007 Pride Parade is on Saturday 27th October, starting at 8:00pm. Road closures begin at 6:00pm that evening. This year we'll be providing a free BBQ and drinks for marshalls and rovers, before you move into position.
Pride WA is holding a meeting for all marshalls on Tuesday 16 October 2007 at 7:00pm at the Court Hotel. The Court Hotel is located at 50 Beaufort St Perth.
We will be confirming the availability of marshalls, deciding on a plan for the night, choosing head rovers, deciding on groups of marshalls and assigning them to specific locations. There will also be a general briefing and discussion on the Parade, and an opportunity for head rovers and marshalls to ask questions.
If you would like to be a marshall, please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
Feel free to forward this email to your friends if they are also interested in marshalling at this year's Parade.
Pride WA would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting this important community event and wish you a happy and safe Pride Parade .
Regards,
Jo McMahon
